Program Overview

The Environmental Finance Center West (EFCWest) is offering: 

  • FREE one-day managerial trainings and technical assistance workshops across the state of California. 

  • FREE one-on-one support focused on safe drinking water, wastewater, solid waste management, risk management and other environmental infrastructure needs

We Are Experienced Tribal Trainers and Specialists

EFCWest has been working with Tribes in California and throughout the southwest for over 15 years, providing technical assistance for waste, water and energy planning and supporting initiatives for economic development including business plans and feasibility studies. We understand unique and varied Tribal sustainability needs and how to empower Tribal environmental and resource managers.

Our Free One-On-One Support Program Underway!

We are now offering free technical resource management support to a limited number of Tribes!

EFCWest advisors have completed one project with a Tribe in Southern California and are currently working with four other tribes across California on a variety of projects. These tribes are receiving free, tailored support on integrated solid waste management updates, waste water and drinking water management research, utility management innovation research, project prioritization techniques, and much more!

More spots are currently available for tailored support!


Our specialists can help you with business planning, feasibility studies, integrated solid waste management plans, water asset management, capital improvement, outreach and collaboration campaigns, hiring plans, marketing, risk assessment and much more. This program started in Spring of 2018 and will continue through 2019.
